Based on the concept of "veterinary services for the rich and the poor", NPV Hong Kong Non-profit Veterinary Clinic was established in 2006. Chairman Mark Mak has since developed an indissoluble bond with stray animals.
Starting from Xihu, to the more familiar Huang Ren and Lili, NPV witnessed stray animals struggling to survive, and at the same time met kind hearts, who were determined to adopt them and start the happy road of fur children. Some fur children could not escape the clutches of death, but the strong souls that remained walked into other people's lives, encouraging more people to love animals.
Mark is one of those who was deeply touched by these strong souls. Every day at NPV, Mark watched the hard-working furry friends up close. With hope, he wrote twelve touching stories about stray animals, hoping that these stories can also encourage more people to pay attention to and care for the fragile lives of furry friends, so that they can live well.
