Nursing mother dogs naturally produce a calming pheromone (DAP), which reassures puppies and helps them feel safe as they encounter new experiences and unknown situations. Clinical studies have shown that similar synthetic dog appeasing pheromones (DAP) help calm and soothe dogs of all ages.

Adaptil Dog Calming Aromatherapy Spray contains DAP and is therefore recommended for preventing and reducing stress and related behaviors in puppies and adult dogs. It also helps make puppies and adult dogs more amenable to behavioral therapy and training.

Can be used directly for:

• In the car, pet cage, pet bed
• When going out for fun
• Challenging situations (new adoption, moving, new family member or pet, crate transport, left home alone, loud noises such as fireworks or thunderstorms)

Note:
Never spray directly on your dog If your dog is in a cage, never spray inside the cage Always spray on objects or surfaces, not in the air When using, make sure your dog is away from the area you are spraying. Wait 15 minutes after spraying before letting your dog into the sprayed area.
